Socianis has decided to revise its Privacy Policy as effective on 21-10-2023 therefore, by visiting our website and/or using our services you automatically agree with the Policy terms and conditions after 21-10-2023. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your private information within our services.

Socianis, domiciled in The Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of your personal data. In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), Socianis has all the appropriate physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect your personal data. Under no circumstances will we transmit your personal data, for commercial purposes, without your prior written consent.

Whenever this Privacy Policy uses words such as “we” or “us,” it will be referring to the processor of your information. Moreover, regardless of your residential country, you authorize us to transfer, store, and use your information at our operating center. 2. Information you provide us

For us to cater to your demands we will require your information details to process your needs. For example, you must create an account for yourself to access the services that are being provided by Socianis. During the account creation process, it is mandatory that you provide us with your name, last name, and email. During the account creation, you are required to create a password. We will not manage your password, nor will we have any access to it. You are fully responsible for the password you create. None of your information will be available in the public domain.

2.1. Contact information

We will need your information such as email to authenticate your account, secure and help prevent spam, abuse, etc. The information provided will also be used to personalize your experience with Socianis. If you email us, we will keep the contents of your message and contact information to swiftly reply to your request.

2.2. Debit and credit card details

Subscription and purchase purposes will require you to provide us with payment details such as credit or debit card number, expiration date, and CVV code to pay for offers provided in our services. Your payment information will be securely processed via the payment processor, PayPal or Stripe. While we are assuring you that after transactions, your details will not be stored by us. However, we will store invoices and payment receipts for a maximum of 5 years, as of the date on which the invoices/receipts have been filed. This will be done for the purpose to facilitate legal accounting obligations.

3. Data we collect

We may collect and store photos if you link your social media profile to Socianis. Links to your photos on your social media profile can also be captured and stored. We require this information to support us in providing our service in an efficient manner.

To distinguish you from our other visitors and users, the Socianis websites need to use cookies. By making use of the cookies we can provide you with a good web experience when you navigate throughout the Socianis website, and it provides us with the opportunity to improve our website and services.

This means, when you visit and or navigate through our website and services, we will receive the following information: your IP address, browser type, operating system, device information and application IDs, referring web pages, visited pages, location and cookies. Because Socianis is dedicated to providing you with a tool that can support your needs to be more efficient and productive when your businesses and agencies require to manage your social media, we require all the above information for the purpose to aid and support our service. By understanding the way you use and interact with our services, we can deliver customized services and support. We may also use this information to issue improvements and suggestions for product development. In our efforts toward better product development, we will conduct quantitative and qualitative research methods, e.g. surveys and information analysis.   • 6. Information we may receive from other sources

    If you use any of Socianis products and/or services we may receive information about you, in order to provide you with a good user experience. Your collected data will be shared internally and combined with other collected data regarding our services. For instance, when Socianis is connected to your Facebook account, we will be able to collect information from your Facebook account on your behalf. We may receive private information regarding your business profile from social networks you have connected to Socianis. This includes Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, PayPal and Stripe. Google data usage is limited when: commenting and posting from YouTube accounts, accessing, and storing analytics. To integrate with YouTube, we apply YouTube API services to provide YouTube functionality within the services that are being provided by Socianis. By using Socianis, you are also giving consent to be bound by the YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, PayPal, Stripe and Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy notices. We will also be able to access your Google Analytics account in real time. Your access tokens from Google, which allows us to publish on your behalf to Google My Business and YouTube are securely stored and can be revoked at your convenience. We strongly advise that you thoroughly examine their privacy policies and terms, as Socianis does not bare responsibility for Third-Party Services.

    By using Socianis you are also giving consent to the Google’s Privacy Policy and the terms and conditions of any other platform you connect with Socianis. We will receive data from all of the services that are integrated with Socianis. There might be a possibility that we will inform you, but we are not accountable for not doing so. By using and/or visiting Socianis you give consent to let Socianis receive personal data and to process it.

    Socianis may transfer information to third parties with whom it collaborates, such as but not limited to business partners, technical subcontractors, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytic and search information providers and credit references agencies. We may receive information about you from them. The received information will be used to optimize your experience with our service.

    7. Personal information we share and disclose

    A variety of third-party services are being used to support us in operating our services. These service providers are global. E.g. a variety of third-party services assisting us in hosting our contents like our website, and they help us in understanding the use of our services, such as Google Analytics.

    Payment information can also be shared with payment service providers to process payments; prevent, locate, and investigate fraud and/or other prohibited activities. We can also process payment information to resolve disputes such as refunds and purposes associated with acceptance terms on credit and debit cards.

    When we share your information with advertisers and advertising networks, it is for the purpose of creating relevant adverts for you and others; this is done by the collected data from you that allows us to display relevant advertisements to you and third-party websites. When you actively use a Socianis feature, that information can be used to show you relevant advertisement on any social platform informing you of new features we have launched.

    7.3. Affiliates and change of ownership

    In the face of events such as, bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred or be sold to another entity as part of that transaction. Your personal data will be transferred to the other entity with this Privacy Policy in contact with your data.     All data are stored on secure servers located in the Europe. Your information is stored on those servers. Every conducted payment is encrypted using TLS technology and processed via the payment gateway, PayPal or Stripe. None of your credit cards information is stored in our system. You bear the responsibility to keep your password (the password which enables you to access certain parts of our site) confidential. It is not advised to share your password(s) with anyone.

    9. Additional data we may collect

    Purchases done via our website will be securely processed via the payment processor, PayPal or Stripe. We will not store credit card/debit card data from our users on our servers or any other means owned by Socianis.     9.2. Not necessary purposes

    By providing your data, you authorize Socianis to use it for marketing, statistical, promotional, advertising, informational or commercial prospecting purposes by sending emails, newsletters and direct telephone calls, regarding the activities and products marketed by Socianis, its affiliates, subsidiaries and/or business partners, even when the activities above are not “necessary purposes” or the ones that originated the legal relationship between you and Socianis.

    If you do not agree with the use of your data for any of the so-called non-necessary purposes, or if you wish to limit the use or disclosure of your data, you can express your refusal or limitation to such treatment or disclosure within a period of 5 business days from when you created an account, notice as follows:

The foregoing, with the understanding that we may require additional information in the terms provided in the Law and its Regulations, in which case the response period will be counted from the moment you provide us with the additional information / documentation.

    We inform you that Socianis only transfers your data to tax, administrative or judicial authorities to comply with the fiscal obligation that Socianis has or to resolve any controversy with the owner of personal data, before judicial or administrative authorities. The foregoing, without prejudice to the data referrals that Socianis makes to its managers who support it in matters of management and storage of databases, sales, search and management of new clients, request for references, payments, sending information, notices, promotions and product delivery.

    Socianis does not carry out any transfer of personal data for which it is necessary to obtain your consent.

    11. Privacy policy modification

    We reserve the right to make modifications or updates to this privacy policy at any time, to attend to new legislation, internal policies or new requirements for the provision or offering of our services or products.
